WHY WE EXIST
Every child deserves more than the chance to simply get by. They deserve the opportunity to participate, belong, discover what they're capable of, and thrive.
But sometimes the barriers standing in the way are surprisingly simple. A pair of shoes that doesn't fit. Clothes for school. A backpack filled with what they need. The cost of joining a team, attending an activity, or being part of an experience their family simply can't afford.
Creating A Way Foundation exists to help remove those barriers. We provide brand-new essentials while helping create access to educational, recreational, and community opportunities that allow young people to participate with confidence.
Because surviving shouldn't be the finish line. Every child deserves a chance to thrive.
WHAT WE DO
BRAND-NEW ESSENTIALS
We provide children and youth with brand-new shoes, clothing, backpacks, and other everyday essentials so they can show up to school, activities, and daily life with confidence.
ACCESS TO OPPORTUNITY
We help remove the financial barriers that can keep young people from participating in sports, recreation, education, and other opportunities that help them learn, grow, and belong.
HOW WE WORK
IDENTIFY THE NEED
We listen to the organizations and people already serving the children and youth in their communities.
BUILD THE PARTNERSHIP
We work with community organizations, businesses, donors, and volunteers to gather the resources needed.
IT STARTS AT HOME.
Our work begins in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, where the idea behind Creating A Way Foundation first took shape. Our initial efforts will focus on supporting local children and youth through partnerships with trusted organizations already serving the community.
Poplar Bluff is our first step, but not the limit of our vision. As Creating A Way Foundation grows, we hope to create new opportunities for young people in communities wherever a way forward is needed.
